Did you know that ticket sales and other earned revenue cover only 40% of our expenses? In order to continue providing world-class dance and award-winning education and outreach programs, we rely on the generosity of individuals like you. Your gifts help Tulsa Ballet provide world-class artistic dance performances, education, and outreach programs to the Tulsa community, year after year.
Pointe Shoe Fund
One of the most essential pieces of equipment used by the ballerinas of Tulsa Ballet is the Pointe Shoe. Last year, Tulsa Ballet spent a total of $66,000 on pointe shoes alone for the main company of dancers. Keep our dancers on their toes and make a gift to our Pointe Shoe Fund today! A $100.00 donation buys one pair of Pointe Shoes for a Tulsa Ballet ballerina.
Hope for the Holidays
Each year, Tulsa Ballet provides clients of local social service agencies free tickets to a special performance of The Nutcracker. Attendees also receive cookies, juice, and a special holiday gift. Last year, thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Tulsa Ballet was able to provide over 2,300 free tickets to this special performance.
In ballet, révérence is performed as a bow or curtsey at the end of a dance sequence on stage before an audience and at the end of each class as a sign of gratitude towards the teacher and the pianist. A Reverence Gift is given in honor of somebody for their work or in memorial of somebody who has passed away.
