Junior and Senior Performance Ensembles

TBCDE is excited for another year of Junior and Senior Performance Ensembles!

Performing is an essential and integral part of a dancer’s training; it highlights their technical and artistic growth and showcases their passion for dance. TBCDE created these Performance Ensembles to provide the opportunity for our students to gain stage experience and to develop their performance skills. The ensembles will allow our young dancers to build positive relationships and friendships through teamwork and a shared love of dance!

We are delighted to announce that Tulsa Ballet Corps de Ballet Alison Cervantes will be the choreographer for the Senior Performance Ensemble, and LJ Tashiro Nafarrete will be the choreographer for the Junior Performance Ensemble!

Participants for both the Junior and Senior Performance Ensembles must be currently enrolled in a dance class at Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education or another dance studio.

 Intensive Program Level 5 to Level 8 (ages 14-18 years, approx.)

Auditions

Senior Ensemble: August 21, 2026, from 6:05-7:45pm (includes 30 minute warm-up class)

Criteria to audition:

minimum of 2 years dance training

Students will be accepted based upon:

Skill level and experience in dance
Musicality
Focus
Positive energy and commitment

Rehearsals

Senior Performance Ensemble rehearsals:

August Rehearsals: August 25, 27 & 28 from 6:45pm-8:15pm (warm-up class at 6:15pm)
September Rehearsal: September 4 from 6:30-8:00pm (warm-up class at 5:45pm)

additional rehearsals may be scheduled

Friday Evenings:

• • 6:15 – 7:45pm (spring semester)
    January 15 – May 7, 2027

Senior Performance Ensemble Fee: $650
Includes Friday evening rehearsals, costume/performance fee, and competition fee.

Junior Performance Ensemble

Ballet Fundamentals to Intensive Program Level 4 (ages 8-14 years, approx.)
Select younger children may be invited to audition

Auditions

Junior Ensemble: January 8, 2027, from 5:00-7:00pm

Audition registration link will be available in November!

Dancer placement in Junior or Senior Ensemble may be determined by skill level

Rehearsals

Junior Performance Ensemble rehearsals:

Friday Evenings

• • Jan. 15-29: 5:00 – 7:00pm
  • Feb. 5-March 26: 5:00-6:30pm (no rehearsal during Spring Break)
  • April 9- May 7: 5:00-6:00pm

Junior Performance Ensemble Fee: $525

Includes Friday evening rehearsals, costume/performance fee and competition fee.
