Michael Stadtherr, from Michigan, started dancing at an early age but began his classical ballet training at 11 years old when he started attending Planko Classical Ballet Academy. In 2018, he was accepted into Canada’s National Ballet School and continued his training there for four years. After graduating in 2022, he joined the Boston Ballet’s Graduate Program for one season before coming to Tulsa. He has worked with choreographers such as James Kudelka, Jera Wolfe, and Nanine Linning and has performed in works such as James Kudelka’s The Nutcracker and The Four Seasons, Jera Wolfe’s Arise, and Sir Frederick Ashton’s The Sleeping Beauty. This will be Michael’s first season with Tulsa Ballet’s second company.
