Screening of “Flower” & Talkback with Misty Copeland & Leyla Fayyaz

Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education will host world-renowned ballerina Misty Copeland for a screening of her first independently produced short art film Flower. After the screening, Misty Copeland and her Life in Motion Productions co-founder Leyla Fayyaz will take the stage for an in-person talkback.
Misty Copeland stars alongside Babatunji Johnson and Christina Johnson in Flower. The film is an immersive experience in movement storytelling that highlights intergenerational equity and features new, original music from Grammy-winning recording artist Raphael Saadiq and choreography by Alonzo King and Rich + Tone Talauega. This event is appropriate for families of all ages.
