September 12-22, 2024
The mission of our Creations in Studio K program is commissioning new works by the most in-demand choreographers in the world. This season’s program will be the embodiment of this philosophy, featuring some of the most prominent, and most sophisticated, choreographic voices of our times. With a twist! Artistic Director Marcello Angelini has dedicated this program to highlighting the voices of three female choreographers. South Korean choreographer Young Soon Hue, whose dances are performed all over the world, is no stranger to Tulsa Ballet. She will return to Tulsa to create a new work for the company, after the success of This is Your Life, If, and Contrast. Next, Tulsa Ballet welcomes critically acclaimed choreographer Alice Topp to Tulsa to set her first piece on the Company. Alice currently serves as Resident Choreographer for The Australian Ballet, a company considered to be one of the best in the world. Finally, Stephanie Martinez will bring the return of Something to Remember You By to Tulsa, performed by TBII, Tulsa Ballet’s second company.
Single tickets go on sale August 1st, but you can reserve your seats by becoming a subscriber.
