The Development Coordinator will oversee programs for individual donors, including managing a comprehensive donor stewardship program, cultivation plans and donor recognition.
- Record donor gifts and information and ensure recognition within 36 hours
- Maintain and manage database with regular mining and updating
- Provide listings for publications with accuracy
- Develop reports for tracking donor history, appeal success, membership growth
- Identify methods of increasing involvement through “moves management”
- Implement plans for communications with members, including developing the annual report, creating newsletter content, and designing surveys to access member satisfaction. Coordinate the development of strategic plans for each group
- Attend and work at all Tulsa Ballet events, including but not limited to Founders Society events, fundraising events, and ballet performances
- Additional duties as assigned
Development Coordinator Job Specifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years’ experience in a not-for-profit environment
Required Skills:
- Superior written and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Database management experience
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills
- Friendly personality and positive outlook
- Proven and demonstrable track record of being able to work under pressure while managing multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Tessitura Fundraising Software and basic page layout software is preferred but not required
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
The Membership Coordinator must:
- Be able to work nights and weekends when required
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and participate in physical activity required for events
- Have transportation, as some errands will occasionally be necessary
