As Resident Choreographer, Cong creates works that become instant favorites at Tulsa Ballet, on Broadway, and around the globe. Set to the music of composer Ezio Bosso, this world premiere is a passionate work about finding the hope and faith to go on against all odds.
World Premiere of Fading Figures | Garrett Smith
Smith is recognized for the “eclectic vocabulary” of his contemporary works (Dance Spirit Magazine) and has created works for Houston Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet, and others.
Prawn-watching | Val Caniparoli
Back by popular demand is Val Caniparoli’s Prawn-watching. Hailed by Tulsa World as “the meeting ground in this balletic battle of the sexes,” this thrilling work is set to the music of award-winning British composer Michael Nyman (Academy Award winning film The Piano).
