
Nikolas Gaifullin
Demi Soloist
Nikolas was born in Sarasota, Florida and begin his training at the age of 7 with his parents, Stephanie Murrish and Daniil Gaifullin. His repertoire includes works by, Johan Kobborg, Yuri Possoskhov, Marcello Angelini, Ma Cong, Max Petrov, Ross Freddie Ray, Jiri Kylian, Ricardo Amarante, Tara Lee, Dwight Rhoden, Bruce Wells, Viktor Plotnikov, Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye, Kiyon Ross, Anthony Krutzkamp, John McFall, Norbert De La Cruz III, and Septime Webre. Favorite roles include Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, James in La Sylphide, Drosselimier in The Nutcracker, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and Basilio in Don Quixote.
Nikolas has competed and won awards in the Youth America Grand Prix and the World Ballet Competition. He attended the Carreno Festival in 2012, and has studied with Ethan Brown of American Ballet Theatre, Sergiu Stefancshi of Canada’s National Ballet School and Anna Marie Holmes at Jacobs Pillow. In the summer of 2019, he participated in the Italy tour of Ross Freddie Ray’s Fraudulent Smiles with Polunin Ink and performed the role of Tybalt in Johan Kobborg’s Romeo and Juliet in Arena di Verona. In the fall of 2021, he performed in London’s Royal Albert Hall, repeating his role as Tybalt with Polunin Ink. Company Affiliations: Tulsa Ballet II, Kansas City Ballet II, Atlanta Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet. Nikolas joins Tulsa Ballet in 2023 as a Demi Soloist.
