Julia Crosby, from Germantown, Maryland, began her training at the Maryland Youth Ballet. From there, her training includes The Houston Ballet and The Washington Ballet. In 2017, she joined Milwaukee Ballet 2. In 2018, she joined Atlanta Ballet 2 and performed in the Premiere of Yuri Possokhov’s The Nutcracker and as Princess Odette/Black Swan in Bruce Wells’ The Swan Princess.
She joined Tulsa Ballet as an Apprentice in 2020, and was promoted to Corps de Ballet the following season. She has danced in roles such as Mirlitons and Marie in Ma Cong and Val Caniparoli’s The Nutcracker and Little Swans in Swan Lake, and Soloist roles in Only the Lonely (Adam Hougland), Don Quixote, and Strictly Gershwin (Derek Deane). Julia was promoted to Demi-Soloist in 2024.
