Annachiara Corti

Annachiara Corti was born in Pescara, Italy. She began to study dance at the age of 4. At 13 years old, she moved to Rome to study Classic Dance at the Accademia Nazianale di Danza (AND). She graduated in June 2016 under the supervision of Gabriella Tessitore, former principal dancer at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. In December 2015, she won the Tersicore Prize as best student of the Accademia Nazionale di Roma. In Feb 2016 she was invited as guest  of the demo-conference at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich  titled “Ballet Extra: Paquita by Mazilier, Petipa, Justamant. A comparison.” She performs as solo dancer in some excerpts of the Solo of Paquita of Henri Justamant. From November 2016 to March 2017 she joined, as a guest, the Ballet Dortmund for the production of Swan Lake, under Ballet Director Xin Peng Wang.  This is her first year with TBII.
