Tulsa Ballet Facility Rentals
Tulsa Ballet’s performance space, Studio K opened in the heart of Brookside at the end of April 2008. The incredible new space provides many firsts for the local community including intimate dance experiences in a luxury setting. In addition to providing arts instruction, outreach, new works and choreographic debuts, Studio K is available throughout the year for rental by arts groups, non-profit organizations and corporate entities. The theater, entrance lobby, box office, boutique and café serve as the foundation for additional space rental and event hosting for the expanded Tulsa Ballet facility.
With 295 seats, Studio K is a unique performance and meeting space providing versatility to accommodate a staged theatrical production or a corporate function. Measuring 73’ in width and over 48’ in depth, the stage is equipped with a full lighting and sound package, all of which is managed by an enclosed control booth at the rear of the house. A House Manager, ushers, lighting, sound, and rigging technicians, security and follow spot operators are all available to help stage a successful production or event.
The primary function of each of these studios is to serve as a state-of-the-art ballet rehearsal space. Because they were designed for dance, each has a wide expanse and high ceilings. These qualities make the studios perfect for meetings, dining, and other events catering up to 200 people.
The relaxing atmosphere of the dancers lounge was created for downtime between classes and rehearsal. This space is fully equipped with comfortable furniture, a wall-mounted television, a media space with high-speed internet and a dining area that links to the service kitchen.
The service kitchen provides limited space for catering functions. While the area is relatively small, it does include sinks, counter space, warming ovens and an industrial size refrigerator for cold storage.
Tulsa Ballet’s Leaps & Grounds Café and Boutique is open throughout the year providing retail and concession services to visitors of the facility.
For ticketed events and performances, Tulsa Ballet provides all-encompassing ticket services including internet, telephone and walk-up sales. Printing, distribution, handling and will-call services for tickets is also available.
The entrance lobby to Tulsa Ballet’s facilities comes complete with video monitors, waiting area, restrooms, and a stage-viewing window. Studio K, Leaps and Grounds Café, the box office and additional facility space are all accessible from the entrance lobby.
An audio/visual package can be tailored for any need from a simple microphone for a small meeting to video screens and projectors for corporate events, and also including stage production complete with theatrical lighting and sound.
Complete event planning services are available from Tulsa Ballet to those renting the company’s facilities. Equipment rental including tables, chairs, dishware, glassware, flatware, linens, and much more is an option along with set-up and take-down services.
