Ludmila Davison head shot Born in Brazil, Ludmila received initial ballet training at the Escola de Ballet do Teatro Castro Alves where she was exposed to the technique of ballet, contemporary and character dance. During her years of training in Brazil, Ludmila passed the Classical Education Syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance with Honors and completed the Major Examinations of the Academy including the Advanced Executant’s Examination. While training in the United States, she took classes at the Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago, Illinois. As a student, she performed school ballet repertoire in addition to performing a variety of classical and contemporary ballets including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Fille Mal Gardee, Rhapsody in Blue, Descobrimento do Brasil, Trem Caipira and Floresta Amazonica. Ludmila’s dance teaching career started in Brazil at the Escola de Ballet do Teatro Castro Alves where she prepared students for the R.A.D. examinations. At Fundacao de Ballet da Bahia, she designed classical ballet classes under the direction of Pamela Richardson R.A.D.. In Sao Paulo, she was responsible for the children’s dance program at the Conservatorio de Musica de Campinas. While in Suzhou, China, Ludmila delivered dance lessons for young students at QSI International School of Suzhou.
