Stacy Christiansen

Stacy Christiansen grew up in Tulsa, where she trained locally and performed with Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Dance Theater. While receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, Stacy also performed and toured with the Oklahoma Festival Ballet. She has been instructing ballet in the Tulsa area for nearly two decades, most of which has been with the Center for Dance Education in one capacity or another. During her time with the CDE, Stacy has taught classes ranging from Creative Movement to Adult Ballet, and from Preparatory Ballet to Pointe Technique, including Boys Jumps & Turns and even Tap Technique. Throughout her tenure with the CDE, Stacy has consistently been involved with the Education Outreach classes, of which she previously helped to administrate and is now the Lead Instructor. Stacy was also the Founder and Director of the Dance Program at Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences, where she instructed for 6 years, as well as the Co-Founder, Assistant Director, Assistant Producer, and Choreographer for Lochran Theatrical Ventures.
