Keith “HappyFeet” Prater is a Dancer and Choreographer from Pasadena, CA where he received his formal training in Tap, Hip-Hop, Horton and Graham Modern techniques, Jazz, Contemporary, African, and Classical Ballet at Sue B. Dance Company, founded by Eugene “Pineapple” Jackson. While at Sue B., Keith met and trained under Tap Master Chester Whitmore. Keith studied Dance at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK., and holds a Certification in Dance from the International Dance Academy Hollywood (IDA Hollywood.)
From there Keith went on to study under names such as Chloe and Maud Arnold, Jason Janas, Derick Grant, Sarah Reich, and Greg Russell. He has won several choreography awards and has enjoyed teaching dance for the past nine years. Some of Keith’s credits include working with Dawn Richard, Cedric The Entertainer, the “Syncopated Ladies,” Tulsa Opera, Theatre Tulsa, and Brian Nhira from Season 10 of NBC’s “The Voice.”
