October 28-31
Tulsa Performing Arts Center
In collaboration with the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission, choreographer Jennifer Archibald brings you a singular multimedia experience combining dance and documentary to explore the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. Originally conceived as an historical timeline, through intensive research that included intimate conversation with descendants of survivors, this project has evolved both in structure and in meaning. This is more than a ballet – it is a testimony, a love letter to the legacy, resilience of the people and their city. This program will also feature the return of Flight of Fancy, fast-paced and lively piece by Ma Cong.

Please note: since this piece is still in the creation process, we do not have a detailed synopsis at this time.
