Alexis Chasteen is 23 years old and was born in Fremont, California. However, she has lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the majority of her life. Alexis began studying dance at the age of four and has continued to train since then. She has focused this time on studying ballet, modern/contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, while also learning the basics of breakdancing, tap and character. She has instructed classes at Elite Dance of Tulsa, Theater Arts, Rhythmic Notions, Nancy Clarke School of Dance, The Legacy Project, and Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education. Both The Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute and Company Dance Convention presented Alexis with scholarships to their programs. Alexis has appeared in the following music videos: “Make My Move” by Nehemiah Akbar, “Hero” by Brian Nhira, “Old Habits Die Hard” by NUNS, “Just Can’t Stop” and “Shake” by Weston Horn and the Hush, “Thinking Bout Somethin’” and “Give A Little” by Hanson. Alexis has professionally performed behind the band Weston Horn and the Hush. She has also performed in The Legacy Project’s professional and original productions of “What If?”, “Be the Light”, “Tulsa: Our City”, and “I AM”.
