After training with the Superior National Conservatory of Danse, Hugo joined Avignon Ballet and then the Toulouse Ballet Capitole. As a corps de ballet dancer with Toulouse Ballet Capitole, he performed several featured roles in ballets such as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, the Gypsy Chef in Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s Who Cares? and Tarentella, Vaiinonen Vasili’s Flammes de Paris and Jiri Kylian’s Sechs Tanze.
