Born in Madrid, Spain. José received his dance training in Madrid and at Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg. He was a Soloist with Mikhailovsky Ballet Theatre in St. Petersburg, and a guest artist with the Suite Española Company, Choreographic Miniatures and Odessa Ballet. He has performed leading roles in Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, Romeo and Juliet, Le Spectre de la Rose and Don Quixote and has had featured roles in Elite Syncopations, Classical Symphony, The Four Temperaments, Age of Innocence, Rooster, Nine Sinatra Songs, Company B. His repertoire also includes PreSentient, Theme and Variations and many more. José won the Tanzolymp International Competition and a gold medal at the International Competition of the Ministry of Culture and Arts in Spain. This is José’s fifth season with Tulsa Ballet.
