Jonnathan Ramirez Mejia

Born in Cali, Colombia, Jonnathan’s third year with Tulsa Ballet begins with the 2012-2013 season. He began his dance training at age 8 at Incolballet, one of the best classical ballet schools in Latin America. He continued his training at four summer intensive programs at American Ballet Theatre (ABT), and received a full scholarship to ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Ballet. He has danced with the Incolballet of Cali, Colombia, Cincinnati Ballet and Houston Ballet. Jonnathan’s repertory includes Corda, Dracula, The Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Carmina Burana, Serenade, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty.
