Tulsa Ballet presents 3 world premieres with "Creations"
From May 3–12, 2013, Tulsa Ballet presents its final performance of the 2012–2013 season, Off the Floor: Creations in Studio K. Creations in Studio K provides choreographers and dancers alike the opportunity to be part of a remarkable creative process, the outcome of which is the creation of three brand new works for our audience by three accomplished choreographers.

Ma Cong to retire from dancing at end of season
Ma Cong, who joined the company in 1999, will retire from dancing at the end of the 2012-2013 Season to focus attention on his work as a choreographer.

Company to stage Balanchine's groundbreaking work The Four Temperaments
"Balanchine & Beyond", presented over two weekends beginning March 15, celebrates the influence of legendary choreographer George Balanchine. The mixed repertory program includes the Oklahoma premiere of Yuri Possokhov’s "Classical Symphony", the return of the James Kudelka’s well-received "there, below", and George Balanchine’s neo-classical masterpiece, "The Four Temperaments". All performances are at The University of Tulsa Lorton Performance Center.

2013/14 Season announced
Tulsa Ballet Artistic Director Marcello Angelini announces the 2013/14 season, filled with audience favorites and more Oklahoma and world premieres by some of the world’s most in-demand choreographers. Tulsa Ballet performances will take place at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Studio K at the Tulsa Ballet headquarters, as well as a spring series in The Roxana Rózsa and Robert Eugene Lorton Performance Center on the campus of The University of Tulsa.

Classic love story Lady of the Camellias opens Feb. 1
A poignantly moving ballet of extravagance, jealousy, forbidden love, revenge and sacrifice, Lady of the Camellias tells the love story of a Parisian courtesan and a gentleman. In 2000, Tulsa Ballet received curtain call after curtain call for this tragically beautiful work. With breathtaking choreography, gorgeous sets and a message of true love, this ballet will beckon not a dry eye from the audience.

Tulsa Ballet's The Nutcracker returns, with updates
Tulsa Ballet transforms the Tulsa Performing Arts Center into a holiday wonderland with The Nutcracker from December 8–23, 2012. Artistic Director Marcello Angelini’s breathtaking choreography as well as the fantastical sets and costumes by Luisa Spinatelli will delight audiences young and old. This year, famous children’s choreographer Bruce Wells from Pacific Northwest Ballet is charged with creating new dances for the Party Scene in Act One and Mother Ginger in Act Two.

12/13 Season opens Sept. 14 with Age of Innocence
Edwaard Liang, choreographer of blockbuster hit and Tulsa Ballet’s 2012 world premiere of "Romeo and Juliet," brings his masterpiece "Age of Innocence."
